Blowing Rock -- The high-country tradition continues! This year, Blowing Rock’s Art in the Park celebrates a spectacular 64th anniversary, transforming downtown into a vibrant open-air gallery. Whether you are a seasoned collector or just looking for a unique weekend getaway, this long-running series remains a cornerstone of the North Carolina arts scene.
Set against the scenic backdrop of Park Avenue, the event showcases a meticulously curated selection of jury-selected artisans. Because the roster of artists changes for every show, each visit offers a fresh opportunity to discover new talent across a wide variety of mediums.

The tents lining Park Avenue host a treasure trove of craftsmanship, including:

Travel Tips & Parking
Navigating downtown can be busy, but the event organizers have made it seamless:
The Easy Way: Utilize the Free Shuttle running from the Shoppes on the Parkway. It runs continuously from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., dropping you right at the entrance.
Self-Parking: Free lots are available on Maple Street, Wallingford Street, and at the Blowing Rock Art & History Museum (BRAHM).
Charity Lots: For a small fee, you can park at Rumple Church or Blowing Rock School, with proceeds benefiting local causes.
