Burke County -- On April 2, 2026, the Burke County Sheriff’s Office was conducting a focused patrol in the Glen Alpine area and deputies conducted a traffic stop on a truck for a motor vehicle violation.

During a probable cause search of the vehicle, deputies located a bag containing a white powdery substance among the belongings of the passenger, identified as Destiny Estelle Lee Good. The substance was field tested and returned a positive result for fentanyl.

Good was taken into custody and transported to the Burke County Magistrate’s Office and charged with Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Good was given a $20,000 secured bond and a first appearance court date of April 6, 2026.

Additionally, Good was served with an outstanding Order for Arrest for Failure to Appear related to previous charges of Misdemeanor Hit and Run, Infraction Failure to Maintain Lane Control, and Infraction Exceeding a Safe Speed. For those charges, she was issued a $500 secured bond and a court date of April 16, 2026.
