Buncombe County -- October 24, 2026: The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office has launched an investigation following a shooting incident early Saturday that resulted in the deaths of two men. Deputies were dispatched to Pine Needle Drive, an area located near the Henderson County line, where the grim discovery was made.
Upon their arrival at the scene, law enforcement personnel found two male victims. Both individuals sustained gunshot wounds, according to initial reports from the Sheriff's Office.
According to authorities, patrol deputies were dispatched around 12:20 a.m. on October 24 to the area of Pine Needle Drive following a report of a gunshot wound.
