BUNCOMBE COUNTY -- An estimated $11 million in grants for tourism-related capital projects in Asheville and Buncombe County will be awarded beginning April 1, when the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority (BCTDA) opens its 2026 LIFT Fund cycle. The initiative is designed to boost lodging, meetings, and community benefits, with the goal of supporting the region's tourism-driven economy through strategic investments in projects that increase patronage of lodging and convention facilities
