While the bright lights of Hollywood are a long way from Murphy, North Carolina, Rumfelt’s grit is rooted in his Appalachian upbringing. Many locals know Braden not just as a singer, but as a resilient former athlete. After a congenital leg condition and two major surgeries ended his sports dreams, he pivoted to his true calling.
“I feel better when I am singing,” Rumfelt shared during his journey, noting that his twin brother, Kellen, has been his "voice of encouragement" from the start.
