Blowing Rock -- April 20, 2026: As the mountain air warms and the summer season begins to draw visitors back to the High Country, the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce is launching a new anchor for the community: the Thursday Market.

Starting May 14, this weekly event transforms the lawn at 132 Park Avenue into a hub of local commerce and connection. Running from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the market is perfectly timed to serve as a midday refresh for residents and a prime discovery spot for tourists.

Mountain Made, Locally Sourced

This isn't just a shopping trip; it’s a chance to meet the makers behind the "Mountain Made" label. The vendor lineup (confirmed as of April 8) features a rotating selection of treasures, including:

  • Mystic Pasta – Artisanal flavors for a mountain-side dinner.

  • Summer Fresh Flower Farm – Vibrant, seasonal blooms.

  • CeCe Baked Goods – Handcrafted midday treats.

  • J&M Produce – Fresh, local flavors from the vine.

  • Evenlight Eagles & Potter Neighbor – Unique finds and handcrafted goods.
