Hendersonville -- July 3, 2026: A 15-year-old Asheville teen is recovering after being shot during a late-night incident at a Hendersonville restaurant, according to the Hendersonville Police Department.
Officers responded at approximately 11:18 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, to reports of gunfire at the Cook Out restaurant located at 2546 Chimney Rock Road in Hendersonville.
The victim was transported to Mission Hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the shooting by interviewing witnesses and following up on leads in an effort to identify and apprehend those responsible. At this time, no arrests have been announced, and investigators have not released information regarding possible suspects or a motive.
