Around 1:29 p.m. on August 19, APD detectives contacted Takeia Vanessa Davis (12/07/1980) and Karriam Habar Taylor (06/18/1976) while working in tandem with the SBI.
It was discovered that Davis and Taylor were carrying hidden stolen firearms when they were apprehended. After more research, a search warrant was obtained for a home on Cordova Street, where a significant quantity of cash, another firearm, and a trafficking quantity of drugs were found. When the search was conducted, the unoccupied house was empty.
