Officers responded to the scene at an apartment complex on Granada Street around 4:58 p.m. on Sunday, November 9th, following a report of a gunshot wound victim.
Upon arrival, APD personnel quickly located a man suffering from a gunshot wound under his left arm. Officers immediately began rendering medical aid until Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived. The victim was subsequently transported to Mission Hospital, where his injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening.
APD's Criminal Investigations Division has taken the lead on this case and detectives are actively working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
