All Haywood County Schools are now equipped with lifesaving Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) thanks to a special effort by Haywood County Health and Human Services’ Public Health Services Division.
We were able to provide AEDs to the four schools that didn’t already have one — ensuring that every single school has these vital devices on hand in case of an emergency.
AEDs can analyze heart rhythm and deliver a shock if needed, helping restore a normal heartbeat. When paired with CPR, they can double or even triple the chances of survival from sudden cardiac arrest.
We’re proud to partner with Haywood County Schools to make every campus safer for students, staff, and our community.
