Over the past year, the Parkway has reopened 85% of the 469-mile motor route. Recovery projects will continue in the Parkway's hardest-hit areas. The park's natural resources will continue to recover for years to come, but they are resilient, just like the region's people.
Progress on the Parkway is just a small piece of the recovery efforts across the region. The Parkway is committed to being a good partner to our neighboring communities and is excited to welcome visitors back to our region during this popular fall season.
